2007, the biggest 9 year in "207 years" has been an interesting ride on this spiritual journey called life. It dealt with a lot of shakeups and endings all around us . Whether it happened to us personally, or to those around us, we should have been aware of the cosmic rumblings going on. As we move into this 2008/10/1 year we need to be ready for a upswing in the energies around us. Even though not all of us will be in a personal year of the 10/1, it will have a effect on each and everyone, because the value of the 10 will be added to the value of the month and day of our own birth days (example 9+23=32, 32+10=42, 4+2=6). Even though this birth date's personal year is under a 6, the influence of the 10 will still be in play especially on and after that birth date.
2008 is the first year that adds up to a double digit (2+0+0+8=10, 1+0=1) in this new millennium that we are experiencing. The way to read this is to take the 8 and let it travel through the double zeros allowing it to push through the 2 creating the double digit 10, then add the 1+0 to equal the root number of 1.
The number 8 is a number of power and strength. Key words for a positive approach to the 8 are; Responsibility, Money, Business and Karma. As ye sow, so shall you reap is a key phrase for this number. In a negative approach you can express the qualities of someone Ruthless, Domineering and some what of a Bully.
Then take the 8 and pass it through the double zeros (which represent God or Universal force) pushing through the number 2. The number 2 shows an awareness of "there is more in the universe than just you."
Key words for this vibration are Cooperation, Diplomacy and Self Knowledge. In a negative approach you can show a lack of Self-Confidence and be Deceitful, Oversensitive and easily Depressed.
Putting these numbers together will get you to the 10. This number can bring Luck, Success and Honor. This is a time to have confidence in ones self, to keep an eye on your personal goals and to capitalize on all your past experiences to move forward in your personal growth. If a negative approach is taken you might become Stubborn, Opinionated, and may be inclined to Over Exaggeration of your needs or desires.
The number 10 roots out at the number 1 (1+0=1). One is the number of starts and beginnings. It may bring on the need to be Independent, make Decisions or the need of new Pursuits in your life. If a negative approach is taken your Ego can take over and make you Selfish, Uncaring and Un-sympatric to others and their points of view. This can lead to failure and loneliness.
We all have been given the gift of free will. With this gift we can choose the higher paths on our journey or we can choose to wallow in the pain we cause to ourselves. This 10 year is an opportunity for us to rise out of the mire and to become the beings that we have the ability to be. It all starts with that first (#1) step.
